A Productive Day... and a Freebie!

Good Evening All!

Hope everyone had a good week, and has lots of fun stuff planned for the upcoming weekend.

I myself don't have all that much planned for the weekend other then getting caught up on my writing (day three and I am already behind... ugh! However I am up to date on everything else, so I guess I can't be to hard on myself). My current work is a story that was inspired by the show Tour of Duty, which I just finished watching my way through all three seasons of. The story is not based on the characters in the show of course, but it is based on characters that are fighting in the Vietnam War. That particular war has always been of particular interest to me as I have two uncles (sadly both now gone from our lives but still alive and well within our hearts) who fought in Vietnam.

Anyway, that is what I intend to do this weekend...

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year one and all!

I am so hoping that 2014 will be a good year for myself and my family. 2013 was not one of the best years ever, but I am hoping that we can make a fresh start and improve things in the coming year.

Hello there,

There may be a few of you out there that remember me from my earlier days, though I admit I seriously doubt it.

Anyway, I am here to introduce my new blog! It is called Angi's Place... *points to the banner*

As of today I am declaring it 'Under Construction'. One of my New Year's resolutions this year is to post on this blog at least 5 days a week. I figure by giving myself a couple of days off a week, I am making it less likely that I will lapse off posting.

My interests range greatly, and you never know what might pop up for discussion. I dearly would love to comments become discussions. As my friends  *what... I have friends!*  would tell you, there is nothing I love better then to enter into a lengthy conversation about a topic that interests me or irritates me. lol

Some of the topics that you will find most often are:

Writing - I am a hopeful writer. I have actually written a couple of novels, or at least the bare bones of a couple of novels. I am an eager participate in no less then four writing challenges each year. Three of them are put on by National Novel Writing Month. The forth is a year long writing challenge to write at least 300,000 words during the year. Trust me when I tell you that you WILL hear more about this if you decide to continue to visit this blog.

Photoshop - This is quite possibly my favorite hobby next to writing, and sometimes it even takes precedence to writing... *but don't tell my future editor that...*.

Digital Scrapbooking - This is a hobby I have gone back to time and again for birthdays and special occasions. Another of my resolutions is to try to get back into designing but on a much more detail oriented level. So if you should chose to return, you can expect to see that sort of thing as well, perhaps even a freebie to download now and then if I can manage it. :-)

Other - You will also find posts here about T.V. shows (Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Comic Book Men... just to name a few; music, movies, actors, cats, dogs, kids... and so on and so forth...
